Ms Sumudu studied Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & E Commerce) and Graduate Diploma of Commerce (Accounting) at Deakin University in 2005. After completing her studies, she started her career as an Assistant Accountant and moved into the Financial Controller position at Accor Hotels Group in Australia. She has experience in this field for about 11 years and she is a fully qualified CPA Accountant.
She was working as a Financial Controller with Accor Hotels and now she is the Director at AEMC Pty Ltd. Ms Sumudu Senarath completed her MBA at Sheffield Management School in University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2022. She has co-founded the Digital Marketing Promotion company in Sri Lanka to promote International Hotel Brands in Sri Lanka.
